A small letter about how Joy Street works, what to expect, what is promised, and the gentle ways we keep our word to one another.
Your subscription is simple. Once you sign up, your card will be charged on the same day each month, and your subscription will continue until you choose to pause or step away. Everything is handled right here, quietly, with no fuss. If you have purchased a one-off purchase, you will be charged for the month purchased.
If you subscribe before the last day of the month, your first poetry parcel will be sent in the third week of the following month. An order placed in February, for example, will arrive in the third week of March.
In New Zealand, parcels usually find their way home within five business days. If you're farther away, allow ten. The postal world can be unpredictable. Weather, holidays, and life itself may shift timelines a little, but your poetry will always come.
If you need to cancel, you can do so anytime before your next payment by either logging into your subscription account here on our website, or by emailing [email protected]. Refunds aren't typically offered, except in cases where Joy Street has made a mistake. If something arrives damaged or doesn't arrive at all, I'll make it right, with a replacement or, if needed, a refund.
Your name, address, and details are yours alone. They will never be shared or sold. Joy Street exists to bring beauty, not intrusion.
Should the price of your subscription need to shift, you'll hear about it the way you hear from Joy Street, through your poetry delivery, tucked inside like a quiet note. No emails. No digital noise. Just a gentle notice, two months in advance, so you're never caught off guard.
Though Joy Street lives in a world away from screens, I understand that sometimes you may need to check in. If you have a concern, need to cancel, or if your poetry has gone missing in the mail, you can always reach me at [email protected].
